How to use Contans WG?

Active substance:

parasitic fungus Coniothyrium minitans 1x10^9 oospores per 1 g of product.

Action:

A product containing a living organism, designed to protect plant roots and stem bases against sclerotinia stem rot. Coniothyrium minitans isolated from soil has a selective effect and when applied to the soil acts on the survival structures of fungi from the genus Sclerotinia causing their destruction and disintegration.

Contans WG is applied using field or handheld sprayers.

Dosage:

1. Ornamental plants (in soil and under covers)

Diseases caused by Sclerotinia spp. (sclerotinia stem rot)

Maximum dose for single application: 0.4 g/m2 (4.0 kg/ha)

Recommended dose for single application: 0.4 g/m2 (4.0 kg/ha)

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1

Recommended water volume: 500-1000 l/ha

Use the product to disinfect the growing medium intended for seedling production and cultivation of potted plants and cut flowers. Apply the product 10–30 days before the planned planting (sowing). An earlier treatment before sowing increases the effectiveness of the fungicide. After spraying the protected area, mix the growing medium or soil to a depth of about 20 cm.

2. Vegetables (in soil and under covers)

Maximum dose for single application: 0.8 g/m2 (8.0 kg/ha)

Recommended dose for single application: 0.8 g/m2 (8.0 kg/ha)

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1

Recommended water volume: 500-700 l/ha

Apply the product 10–30 days before the planned planting (sowing). An earlier treatment before sowing increases the effectiveness of the fungicide. After spraying the protected area, mix the growing medium or soil to a depth of about 10 cm.

3. Winter oilseed rape

Recommended dose for single application: 2.0 kg/ha

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1

Recommended water volume: 200-500 l/ha

Apply the product before sowing winter oilseed rape. After spraying the protected area, mix the soil to a depth of about 5-10 cm.

WARNING!!!

After using Contans WG, do not apply chemical fungicides to the soil that protect plants against grey mould and sclerotinia stem rot.

USE OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT IN SMALL-SCALE CULTIVATIONS AND APPLICATIONS

The user alone is responsible for the effectiveness and phytotoxicity of the plant protection product used in small-scale cultivations.

Tobacco

Recommended dose for single application: 4.0-8.0 kg/ha

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size

Use the product to disinfect soil 10–30 days before the planned planting/sowing of tobacco. Treatment performed earlier before planting/sowing increases the effectiveness of the fungicide. After spraying the protected area, mix the growing medium or soil to a depth of 10-20 cm.
