Lavender Fertiliser Twój Ogród is a granular, mineral NPK fertiliser with magnesium, sulphur and micronutrients, designed for fertilising lavender. Lavender fertiliser Twój Ogród is a professional composition of macro and micronutrients tailored to the nutritional needs of lavender. Properly balanced nutrient proportions ensure strong plant growth, a large number of flower buds and long, abundant flowering until the first frosts. The high potassium content positively affects the intense colour of lavender.

Lavender fertilisation calendar with Twój Ogród fertiliser:

Lavender cultivation and care conditions:

Lavender prefers sunny locations, as indicated by the leaf colour which takes on grey-green, slightly silvery hues. The growing medium for its cultivation should be permeable, sandy and alkaline, although this plant also grows well in normal loose garden soils. Lavender poorly tolerates wet places and heavy soils where waterlogging may occur. Lavender develops roots in the upper soil layer.

Deficiencies of mineral nutrients in lavender cultivation are best supplemented with chloride-free fertilisers. Lavender does not tolerate fertilisation with large, rapidly released doses of nitrogen. Fertilisation should begin in spring to help the plant recover quickly after winter. Lavender should be fertilised frequently but in small doses. The fertiliser is applied around the plant; it must not be applied directly onto lavender leaves as this may cause damage. Constant liming should be maintained, as small doses keep the soil pH at an appropriate level.

To prevent excessive woodiness, lavender should be regularly pruned. Pruning rejuvenates the plant and helps it remain in good condition and bloom abundantly for a long time. Depending on the variety and weather conditions, lavender blooms from June to August. For strong thickening, the plant should be pruned in spring by 2/3 of its length, also removing old woody and dried shoots. To stimulate lavender growth, it should be pruned a second time immediately after the flowering phase ends. During the second pruning, woody parts must not be removed as this could prevent new shoots from growing in that place. The second pruning is practical as it allows lavender to bloom again. Long flower shoots should be removed before the plant produces seeds, saving unnecessary energy expenditure. Apart from pruning and proper fertilisation, lavender requires no other treatments.

Granular lavender fertiliser Twój Ogród - usage tips:

  • Fertilisers should be used in a balanced manner, and fertilisation should be based on the plant's needs and the growing medium's fertility.
  • Prevent fertiliser from reaching surfaces not intended for fertilisation.
  • Store fertiliser in closed, original packaging, in dry rooms, away from food and feed, in a place inaccessible to children.
  • During storage and transport, protect from heat, direct sunlight, moisture and mechanical damage to packaging.
  • Shelf life - unlimited if storage conditions are met.
