Description
SINGLIF 360 SL is a non-selective herbicide with systemic action, applied foliar, in the form of a concentrate for preparing an aqueous solution (SL).
Content of active substance: glyphosate (a compound from the group of aminophosphonic acids) in the form of isopropylamine salt - 360 g/l (30.9%)
The product contains an active substance that inhibits the enzyme – 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS), which is a key enzyme in the shikimic acid metabolic pathway, associated with the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids, consequently leading to inhibition of protein synthesis essential for plant growth and development.
The product is absorbed through the green parts of plants (leaves, green shoots, and non-lignified bark),
then moves throughout the plant and reaches its underground parts (roots, rhizomes, etc.).
The first symptoms of the product's action (yellowing and wilting) are visible 7-10 days after treatment. Complete plant death occurs after about 3 weeks.
High temperature and air humidity as well as strong sunlight accelerate the product's action.
Full effectiveness of the product is achieved when the treatment is applied to weeds in the phase of intensive growth, i.e. when annual monocotyledonous weeds are at least 5 cm tall,
and dicotyledonous weeds have 2-3 leaves, while perennial monocotyledonous weeds have fully developed 5-6 leaves. Lower weed control effectiveness is obtained when weed development is weakened due to unfavourable conditions (e.g. drought, excessive moisture, frost, or very high temperature).
SINGLIF 360 SL is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers or hand sprayers (including backpack sprayers).
