Description
MODE OF ACTION of Tanger 600 SC:
Tanger 600 SC is a powerful tool in the fight against weeds, relying on blocking the synthesis of chlorophyll and carotenoids for its effectiveness. After application, the product forms a uniform protective layer on the soil surface, acting as a shield against emerging weeds. The active substance is intensively absorbed by the cotyledons and coleoptile of weeds during their germination phase, leading to their rapid death.
A key advantage of the product is its long-lasting soil activity, which persists for up to 2 months after treatment. This means Tanger 600 SC not only destroys existing weeds but also effectively limits secondary weed infestation, providing crop plants with optimal growth conditions for an extended period. The highest effectiveness is achieved on well-prepared, levelled soil, ensuring full surface coverage and maximum protection.
CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
Aclonifen (a compound from the diphenyl ether group) – 600 g/l (49.51%)
Benefits of using Tanger 600 SC:
- Long-lasting protection: Remains active in the soil for up to 2 months, protecting against new weed emergence.
- Clean crop start: Eliminates weeds at the critical germination and cotyledon stages.
- Wide registration: Ideal for potatoes, oilseed crops, and specialist and ornamental crops.
- Mixing capability: Excellent component for tank mixes (e.g. with Boa Pro 480 EC) to broaden the spectrum of controlled species.
Pre-harvest interval:
- Potato - 40 days
- Sunflower, soybean - Not required
- Tobacco, nurseries, willow, ornamental plants - Not applicable
