Growth regulators

Growth regulators are agents designed to control the development and maturation of plants in agricultural and horticultural crops. They are mainly used to improve crop quality, prevent lodging, and regulate fruiting processes.

About the Growth regulators category

This category includes products used in crops such as pear tree, apple tree, spring and winter barley, winter wheat, winter triticale, winter oilseed rape, and winter rye. Growth regulators are used, among other things, to prevent lodging of cereals, regulate fruit setting and thinning, accelerate or delay maturation, and improve fruit quality. Example products include Agrostym 480 SL and Alar 85 SG UPL.

Subcategories differ in their scope of action: anti-lodging agents are used to reduce plant lodging, agents for accelerating and delaying maturation allow control over harvest timing, and products for fruit setting, thinning, and quality improvement support fruiting processes. Active substances include chloromequat chloride, trinexapac-ethyl, 6-benzyladenine, and ethephon. The offer includes products from BASF, Fine, Innvigo, Nufarm, Qemetica, and UPL.

Use plant protection products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
