Description

Cambio – effective protection of cereals and oilseed rape against fungal diseases

Cambio is a systemic fungicide that effectively protects winter wheat, spring wheat and winter oilseed rape against key fungal diseases. It contains metconazole (60 g/l), an active substance from the triazole group, acting as a sterol biosynthesis inhibitor, which leads to the inhibition of pathogen growth and development. The product has preventive, curative and eradicative action, meaning it effectively controls both early infections and advanced disease stages.

The product is available as a soluble concentrate (SL) and is intended for application with field sprayers. Applying the product at the appropriate plant growth stages allows for maximum efficacy and protection of yields against losses caused by fungal diseases.

Benefits of using Cambio

  • Effective protection against key fungal diseases,
  • Preventive, curative and eradicative action,
  • Improved winter hardiness and health of oilseed rape,
  • Reduction of lodging,
  • Easy application and long-lasting effect.

Use and recommended doses

Cambio is used in the following crops:

  • Winter wheat and spring wheat – septoria leaf blotch, fusarium ear blight
    • Dose: 1.2-1.5 l/ha
    • Application timing: from the beginning of stem elongation to the end of heading (BBCH 30-59)
    • Maximum number of applications: 2, with at least 21 days interval
  • Winter oilseed rape – dry cabbage rot, blackleg, grey mould, cylindrosporiosis
    • Autumn: BBCH 14-16 (4-6 leaves) – dose 0.7-1.0 l/ha
    • Spring: BBCH 30-51 (from beginning of stem elongation to green bud) – dose 1.0 l/ha
    • Maximum number of applications: 2 (one in autumn, one in spring), with at least 21 days interval

Using Cambio in autumn improves winter hardiness of oilseed rape, and in spring limits excessive plant growth and reduces the risk of lodging.

Summary

Cambio is an effective systemic fungicide that provides long-lasting protection of cereals and oilseed rape against fungal diseases. Its versatile action, improvement of plant health and ease of use make it an indispensable tool in crop protection.
