Maxim 025 FS is a plant protection product, specifically a fungicide and at the same time a seed treatment product in liquid form (concentrate). It has a surface action.

It is used for treating winter and spring wheat seed, winter triticale and winter rye.

Treatment should be carried out in seed treaters adapted for liquid and suspension treatments.

Such treatment protects against fungal diseases, especially those caused by Fusarium fungi.

The plant protection product Maxim 025 FS has a broad registration allowing treatment not only of cereals but also seeds of: peas, beans, faba beans, lupins, lentils, chickpeas, soybeans and sunflowers against fungal diseases.

It ensures rapid and uniform plant emergence and good overwintering, which is the foundation of abundant, high yield.

By controlling fusarium diseases, it effectively reduces mycotoxin production.

Currently, there is an increased threat from fusarium diseases due to the growing share of cereals in crop production area. Fusarium diseases contribute to contamination of feed and food products with mycotoxins. The contamination level must not exceed specified limits, so producing cereals free from mycotoxins has become a very important aspect.

Since the presence of mycotoxins in cereal grain mainly depends on weather and agrotechnical conditions, Maxim has become a key product allowing reduction of mycotoxin levels at harvest.

The product is intended for use by professional users.

What is the active substance content in the seed treatment product Maxim 025 FS?

  • Contains fludioxonil (a substance from the phenylpyrrole group) - 25 g/l (2.38%).

Fludioxonil provides both exceptional disease control efficacy and safety for the crop plant.
