MULAN 700 WG is a fungicide intended for the protection of apple trees and pear trees against apple scab, one of the most serious fungal diseases in pome fruit orchards. The product contains the active substance dithianon (700 g/kg), belonging to the anthraquinone group.
The plant protection product is available as water dispersible granules (WG) and is intended for preventive use. It acts on the surface, creating an effective protective barrier on leaves and fruits that prevents infections.
Mode of action
Dithianon acts contactually, inhibiting key metabolic processes in fungal pathogen cells. The substance remains on the plant surface, preventing spore germination and infection development.
Due to its surface mode of action, MULAN 700 WG is particularly effective in preventive protection programmes and in strategies to reduce the risk of resistance development.
