Action:

Optysil Longlife is an innovative product from the biostimulant group, aimed at increasing the post-harvest durability of fruits and vegetables. The unique combination of active silicon with an organic form of calcium ensures solubility, stability, and availability.

Using Optysil Longlife brings many benefits, including:

• resistance to damage - the product increases firmness as well as the mechanical resistance and durability of vegetables and fruits to damage occurring during growth, development, and harvest.
• longer post-harvest durability - fruits and vegetables show less susceptibility to loss of freshness and quality and are more durable in trade and storage.
• resistance to storage diseases - the product strengthens cell walls, creating a natural barrier limiting the penetration and spread of pathogens causing storage diseases of fruits and vegetables.

Application:

Optysil Longlife is intended for foliar application during the formation and development of the parts of plants intended for harvest (e.g., fruits, storage organs). The product is a source of highly assimilable silicon and calcium in a nitrate-free and chloride-free form. The preparation significantly affects the calcium supply to organs most prone to deficiency of this nutrient. The silicon contained in the fertiliser significantly improves the quality parameters of the yield.

Optysil Longlife should be applied foliarly as an aqueous solution. It can be used together with other products after checking compatibility. During treatments, avoid strong sunlight, high temperatures, and wind causing droplet drift. Use only when justified. Do not exceed the dose. The product is intended for professional users.
