Description

Treso - granulated fungicide for use in oilseed rape cultivation

What are the benefits of using the fungicide Treso?

  • Excellently controls sclerotinia stem rot in winter and spring oilseed rape cultivation,
  • Also protects against other fungal diseases in minor crops,
  • Has long-lasting action,
  • Maintains a strong and healthy stand for a long time,
  • Guarantees high yields,
  • Contains a unique active substance from a new chemical group in oilseed rape cultivation,
  • Convenient - granulated form.

Treso is a plant protection product, specifically a fungicide (fungicide) granulated concentrate for preparing a water suspension (WG). It has a surface action. It is used preventively to protect against diseases caused by fungi.

It performs excellently against sclerotinia stem rot.

Additionally, it acts for a long time and also maintains a strong and healthy stand for a long time. It guarantees high yields.

It is primarily intended for the protection of oilseed rape (around April), but can also be used (in minor crops) in the cultivation of: turnip rape, fibre flax, mustard, soybean, flax, and hemp.

The product is intended for use with tractor-mounted or self-propelled field sprayers.

What is the content of the active substance in the plant protection product Treso?

  • fludioxonil (a compound from the phenylpyrrole group) – 500 g/kg (50%).

How does the fungicide Treso work?

The product strongly binds to the wax layer of the leaf and blocks spore germination and mycelium growth. Additionally, it disrupts the osmotic pressure inside the pathogen's cells, consequently causing their rupture.

Which fungi does the fungicide Treso control?

Treso is excellent at controlling, primarily, sclerotinia stem rot. It is important to note that this is a very dangerous disease caused by the fungus Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum. It attacks oilseed rape during flowering. The disease often limits yield, even by up to 60%! Therefore, it is crucial to protect your crops against it. The product Treso performs excellently in this regard, showing above-average effectiveness in its control. This is confirmed by studies conducted both abroad and domestically.

In which crops can fungal diseases be controlled with the fungicide Treso?

  • Winter oilseed rape,
  • Spring oilseed rape
  • Spring oilseed rape (also minor crops),
  • Winter and spring turnip rape,
  • Spring and winter fibre flax,
  • Brown mustard, white mustard, black mustard,
  • Soybean,
  • Flax (used for oil and seed, fibre, and seeds),
  • Hemp (used for oil, fibre, and seeds).

What are the pre-harvest interval and withholding period when using the fungicide Treso?

The period from the last application of the product to the day of crop harvest (pre-harvest interval) is not required.

The period from product application until people can enter the treated area and animals can be introduced, i.e. the withholding period: do not enter until the spray liquid has completely dried on the plant surfaces.

What are the recommendations for controlling weeds with the spray liquid (fungicide) Treso?

  • During product application, avoid:
─ drift of spray liquid onto neighbouring crops,
─ overlapping of spray liquid at the edges of treatment strips and headlands.
  • The product contains the active substance fludioxonil (a phenylpyrrole compound (PP) – from the signal transduction inhibitors group), classified by FRAC as group 12. Repeated use of this product or products containing active substances with the same mode of action may lead to reduced efficacy. Therefore, to prevent the development of resistant forms in the pathogen population, it is recommended, among other things:
─ to use the product only at the recommended dose,
─ to include in the disease protection programme the use of products containing active substances from different chemical groups with different modes of action (rotational use).
