Description
ACTION OF TUDOR 114 OD:
The product is a herbicide with systemic action, which is absorbed mainly through the leaves and additionally through the roots of weeds, and then quickly translocated within the plant. It contains three substances classified as acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors. They block the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, leading to disruptions in protein synthesis and ultimately to inhibition of weed development and growth. The first symptoms of action (growth inhibition) appear 4-5 days after treatment, and weeds die completely after 6-8 weeks.
Advantages of using Tudor 114 OD:
- Triple strength action: Utilises the synergy of three active substances (florasulam, nicosulfuron, thifensulfuron-methyl).
- Broad spectrum control: Effectively eliminates troublesome monocotyledonous weeds (e.g. couch grass, quackgrass) and dicotyledonous weeds.
- Systemic efficacy: Penetrates through leaves and roots, destroying weeds from within and preventing regrowth.
- Rapid visual effect: The first symptoms of action on weeds are visible just a few days after application.
