Description
ACTION OF DOLOMITE GROUND FERTILISER:
Dolomite acts comprehensively on the soil environment, serving both as a fertiliser and a means of improving soil structure. Its main task is soil liming, which allows unlocking nutrients that become unavailable to plants in acidic conditions. The high magnesium content plays a key role in photosynthesis and building plant resistance to diseases and adverse winter conditions. Regular use of dolomite prevents serious physiological diseases such as dry top rot of tomatoes or bitter pit of apples.
Benefits of using Dolomite fertiliser:
- Effective liming: Eliminates soil acidity, restoring its optimal pH.
- Improvement of soil structure: Promotes the formation of granular structure, improving water and air relations.
- Supplementation of magnesium and calcium: Fully meets plants’ demand for these two key macronutrients.
- Growth stimulation: Encourages root system development and facilitates the movement of mineral compounds within the plant.
- Support for humus: Enhances decomposition of straw and manure residues, aiding humus formation.
- Increased resistance: Improves plant resistance to winter frost damage.
DOLOMITE COMPOSITION AND APPLICATION:
The fertiliser is characterised by a high concentration of pure mineral components essential for the proper functioning of the soil ecosystem.
Declared macronutrients:
Sum of calcium oxide (CaO) and magnesium oxide (MgO): min. 45%
Total magnesium oxide (MgO): min. 15%
Intended use:
- All soil types, especially very acidic and acidic soils.
- Soils with low and very low magnesium content.
- Arable land, agricultural crops and permanent grassland.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES AND DOSAGE:
The best results are achieved by mixing the fertiliser with soil at a depth of 15–20 cm. For winter crops, it is recommended to apply before seedbed ploughing, while for spring crops – before winter or spring ploughing. On grassland, the fertiliser is spread on the surface in autumn, after mowing or grazing (its effect is then slower).
| Soil type | Recommended dose [t/ha] |
|---|---|
| Light soils | 2.0 – 3.0 |
| Medium soils | 3.0 – 4.0 |
| Heavy soils | 4.0 – 5.0 |
Tip: The fertiliser can be used as a standalone product or as a component of mixtures with other mineral fertilisers.
