Description

FITOFOP ACTION:

Fitofop is an advanced selective herbicide with systemic action, designed for effective control of troublesome monocotyledonous weeds, both annual and perennial. The product is available as a concentrate for preparing an aqueous emulsion and is intended for foliar application. The active substance quickly penetrates the plant through the leaves and is then transported to the roots and rhizomes, allowing effective destruction of the weed from within and inhibition of its growth. The first symptoms of action, such as yellowing and drying of the youngest leaves, are visible after 2-3 weeks. Fitofop is characterised by high application flexibility – cool weather or drought periods may only delay symptom appearance without negatively affecting the final effectiveness of the treatment.

Advantages of using Fitofop:

- Deep systemic action: Destroys not only above-ground parts but also the root system and rhizomes of weeds.

- Effectiveness in various conditions: Effective even at lower temperatures and during drought.

- High selectivity: Safe for a wide range of crops such as sugar beet, potato, oilseed rape, and carrot.

- Control of difficult weeds: Effectively eliminates troublesome couch grass and volunteer cereals.

- Flexible application timing: Possible application within a wide time window of crop development.

FITOFOP ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

chizalofop-P-ethyl (compound from the aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid derivatives group) – 50 g/l (5.22%).

FITOFOP SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

Fitofop - action on weeds:

The product is most effective on annual weeds at the 2-3 leaf stage, while for couch grass the optimal timing is the 4-6 leaf stage.

Sensitive weeds: volunteer cereals, blackgrass, barren brome, wild oats, silky bent, barren brome, smooth meadow-grass, couch grass.

How to apply Fitofop:

The dose should be adjusted to the species of weed being controlled. Higher recommended doses should be used when weeds are at the tillering stage.

Weed control - general dosing:

- Annual monocotyledonous weeds (volunteer cereals controlled in autumn): 0.75-1.0 l/ha (apply from the 2-leaf stage to the end of tillering).

- Annual monocotyledonous weeds (volunteer cereals controlled in spring, blackgrass, barren brome, wild oats, silky bent, barren brome, smooth meadow-grass): 1.0-1.25 l/ha (apply from the 2-leaf stage to the end of tillering).

- Perennial monocotyledonous weeds (couch grass): 2.0-2.5 l/ha (apply at the 4-6 leaf stage).

Sugar beet, fodder beet (production plantations)

Maximum dose for single application: 2.5 l/ha.
