Description

MODE OF ACTION OF SWITCH 62.5 WG:

SWITCH 62.5 WG is a proven and uncompromising fungicidal preparation distinguished by its dual-action strength: systemic and surface. Thanks to the combination of two different active substances, the product demonstrates powerful efficacy in both preventive and curative action. Cyprodinil penetrates deeply into plant tissues, blocking pathogen development from within, while fludioxonil remains on the surface of leaves and fruits, creating an impenetrable protective barrier against new fungal spore infections.

This unique mechanism makes SWITCH 62.5 WG recognised as the best fighter against grey mould and sclerotinia stem rot. The product shows extraordinary rainfastness and reliably protects plants even under difficult, humid weather conditions. Importantly for gardeners, application in the final pre-harvest stages significantly improves the storage capabilities of fruits and vegetables, protecting them from transport and storage diseases (such as bitter rot or wet rot) and extending their shelf life in trade.

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

cyprodinil (compound from the anilinopyrimidine group) – 375 g/kg of product (37.5%)

fludioxonil (compound from the phenylpyrrole group) – 250 g/kg of product (25%)

Advantages of using SWITCH 62.5 WG:

  • Comprehensive protective action: The combination of systemic and contact action ensures elimination of existing infections and long-lasting protection of plant surfaces.
  • Exceptional post-harvest durability: Blocks the development of latent fungal infections, directly contributing to longer freshness, firmness, and healthy appearance of harvested yields.
  • Extremely short pre-harvest interval: Only 3 days for strategic crops (strawberry, tomato, raspberry, sweet pepper) allows safe protection just before harvest.
  • Unmatched versatility: One product effectively solves fungal infection problems on dozens of vegetable species, fruit trees, and shrubs in the garden.

Pre-harvest interval:

  • Strawberry, apple tree, pear tree, quince, tomato, cucumber, courgette, sweet pepper, eggplant - 3 days
  • Sweet cherry, sour cherry, plum tree, raspberry, blackberry, currant (black, red, white), blueberry, cranberry, carrot, root parsley, parsnip, sugar beet, horseradish, swede, turnip, salsify, lettuce (leaf and head), chives, chicory, endive, beetroot leaves, spinach, herbal plants - 7 days
  • Onion, onion sets, shallot, garlic, root celery, celery stalk, apricot, peach, nectarine - 14 days
  • French bean, common pea for fresh seeds, sugar pea, broad bean, bean for fresh seeds - 15 days
  • Grapevine - 21 days
  • Bean for dry seeds, common pea for dry seeds, lupin (white, yellow, narrow-leaved) - 28 days
  • Ornamental plants - Not applicable
