Unika Calcium Potassium-Calcium Nitrate 25kg - Granulated Fertiliser
Unika Calcium is a granulated potassium-calcium nitrate for top dressing, characterised by rapid action thanks to nitrate forms of nutrients. The fertiliser contains 14.2% nitrogen (N), 24% potassium (K2O) and 12% calcium (CaO).
Description
Unika Calcium Potassium-Calcium Nitrate
- Speed of action – nutrients in very fast-acting nitrate forms.
- Beneficial effect on yield size – high content of nitrogen (N) and potassium (K), the two most important nutrients responsible for intensive plant growth.
- Positive effect on yield quality – high content of calcium (Ca) and potassium (K) improves the appearance of vegetables and fruits, as well as their firmness, taste properties, and storage qualities. Moreover, it increases plant resistance to pathogen infections, adverse environmental conditions, and also enhances post-harvest durability of vegetables and fruits while reducing their susceptibility to damage during transport.
- Excellent physical properties – uniform granulate, appropriate physical parameters: density, hardness contribute to good sowing properties and lower risk of burns compared to top dressing with powder or crystalline fertilisers.
Unika Calcium is a granulated potassium-calcium nitrate for top dressing. Using Unika Calcium fertiliser gives particularly good results during phases of intensive growth, when it is possible to simultaneously shape yield quality. For top dressing use in single doses not exceeding 100 – 300 kg/ha, depending on soil fertility and expected yield.
Unika Calcium fertiliser yara - nutrient content:
- Total nitrogen – 14.2% N (including 13.7% N-NO3 and 0.5% N-NH4);
- Potassium – 24% K2O;
- Calcium – 12% CaO.
Application and dosage
|
Crop |
How to apply? Dosage |
When to apply |
|---|---|---|
|
Orchard crops |
Dose: single application not exceeding 100 – 300 kg/ha, depending on soil fertility and expected yield. |
Application timing: during flowering and fruit growth period. |
|
Field vegetables |
Dose: single application not exceeding 100 – 300 kg/ha, depending on soil fertility and expected yield. |
Application timing: in the 2nd to 4th week of vegetative growth. |
|
Vegetables and orchard crops under cover |
Dose: application by hand broadcasting in single doses not exceeding 2–4 kg/100 m2, depending on growing medium fertility, species and variety requirements, and expected yield. |
Application timing: if systems allowing fertiliser application together with irrigation are not available, mainly as top dressing during periods of high demand for nitrogen, potassium and calcium. |
|
Apple tree |
Dose: 200-250 kg/ha. Apply fertiliser evenly in herbicide strips. If a high yield is expected, increase the fertiliser dose by 20-25%. |
Application timing: end of flowering. |
|
Apple tree - additional treatment |
Additionally 150 kg/ha. Apply evenly in tree rows, in herbicide strips. |
Treatment especially recommended in case of abundant fruiting and conditions favouring nutrient leaching. Perform in mid-July. |
|
Onion |
Dose: twice at 150–200 kg/ha |
Application timing: 2–3 weeks after emergence and at the beginning of June. |
|
Tomato |
Dose: 150-200 kg/ha |
Application timing: 6 weeks after transplanting seedlings. |
