Description
Vapor Gard 1l (di-1-P-menten) Bio Agris - natural plant-based adjuvant
VAPOR GARD is a natural plant-origin product used in fruit tree crops acting as an antitranspirant. The use of VAPOR GARD in stone fruit crops – sweet cherry, sour cherry, plum tree and peach reduces fruit cracking. It improves the storage properties of plums. In vegetable crops, it prevents excessive transpiration after transplanting seedlings. It limits the impact of spring frosts.
VAPOR GARD forms a thin, flexible film protecting sprayed fruit set and fruits from adverse external factors for about 3 weeks.
One hour after treatment, under sunlight, the product
polymerises and the film achieves full resistance to washing off by rain. As the
fruits grow, the flexible film stretches easily.
Composition: di-1-P-menten (a compound from the terpene polymer group) – 96 %
APPLICATION
Stone fruit trees - perform spraying about 3 weeks before harvest using the product at a concentration of 0.75 % (750 - 1000 l water/ha), ensuring thorough coverage of the fruits with spray liquid
Note: Do not use VAPOR GARD together with plant protection products or foliar fertilisers.
Vegetable seedlings - perform treatment before transplanting, spray seedlings thoroughly using a concentration of 1 – 2 %, depending on expected conditions after transplanting
Limiting frost impact in vegetables – perform treatment 24 – 48 hours before expected frosts at a concentration of 1 – 2 %
Notes: Does not protect plants 100 %
Does not protect new growth
Does not protect against sunburn
VAPOR GARD polymerises under sunlight and the formed film is more durable, therefore it is best to apply it in the morning on a sunny day so that after application it is exposed to sunlight for at least 1 hour; on a cloudy day polymerisation time may extend to 2 hours
