Description
The Xilon WP product is not available for sale. We encourage you to choose Biocontrol T34 from the same manufacturer. This product is a substitute for Xilon (it has the same composition).
XILON WP is a microbiological fungicide in powder form for preparing a water suspension (WG) for use as a spray in greenhouse cultivation of carnations (Dianthus spp.) to limit fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. dianthi) and in greenhouse cultivation of tomato, sweet pepper and aubergine to limit seedling damping-off and root rot (Pythium sp.). The active substance is spores of the fungus Trichoderma asperellum strain T34. The product is used preventively, protecting carnation plants against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. dianthi and tomato, sweet pepper and aubergine plants against Pythium (damping-off), due to its ability to colonise the growing medium and root zone of plants. The product reduces the occurrence of pathogens Fusarium oxysporum and Pythium aphanidermatum by competing for space in the root zone and nutrients, and may also parasitise pathogenic fungi harmful to plants.
Active substance content: Trichoderma asperellum strain T34 (substance from the group of biological fungicides) 120 g/kg (12 %)* * content 1×1012 cfu/kg
The product is authorised for use only in greenhouses with permanent structures isolated from the ground.
The product is intended for use with greenhouse or hand sprayers, irrigation systems, and also by dipping roots in the product solution.
