Description
HOW COALICION 750 WG WORKS:
Coalicion 750 WG is a selective systemic herbicide dedicated to the control of dicotyledonous weeds in winter and spring cereal crops. The product is in the form of a water-dispersible granule (WG), and its sole active substance is tribenuron methyl (from the sulfonylurea group), present at a high concentration.
The mode of action is based on rapid penetration of the active substance mainly through the leaves, followed by its swift translocation throughout the plant. Tribenuron methyl acts as an acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor, a key enzyme involved in the synthesis of essential amino acids. Blocking this process leads to inhibition of protein biosynthesis, resulting in immediate cessation of weed growth and development. Although the full effect of weed death is visible after about 14 days, their growth is halted immediately after treatment. The herbicide is most effective on young, actively growing weeds.
Advantages of using Coalicion 750 WG:
-Systemic action: The product is rapidly absorbed and translocated, ensuring effective weed control.
-High active substance content: 75% tribenuron methyl guarantees efficiency at a low dose.
-Wide application: Intended for use in spring and winter wheat, spring and winter barley, winter rye, and winter triticale.
-Effective against common weeds: Controls, among others, common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, and field poppy.
-Convenient form: Water-dispersible granule (WG) facilitates precise dosing.
