Description
ACTION OF LANMOS 20 SP:
Lanmos 20 SP is a insecticide in the form of a water-soluble powder (SP), created for effective control of a wide spectrum of sucking and chewing pests. The key to its effectiveness is the active substance acetamiprid – a compound from the neonicotinoid group – which provides a triple mode of action: contact, stomach and systemic (translaminar).
Thanks to its systemic action, the product is rapidly absorbed by leaves, shoots and roots, and then evenly distributed throughout the plant. This means Lanmos 20 SP controls pests feeding inside the tissues (internal action) as well as those only touching the sprayed surface (surface action). This versatile mode of action makes the product indispensable in protecting potatoes (Colorado potato beetle), winter oilseed rape (pollen beetle, weevils) and a wide range of orchard plants (aphids, codling moths, cherry fruit fly). Systemic action is especially important for controlling aphids and other pests whose control is complicated by leaf curling.
Advantages of using Lanmos 20 SP:
-Triple action system: Controls pests by contact, stomach action, and most importantly – systemically, reaching hard-to-access areas.
-Broad spectrum: Effectiveness confirmed in controlling pests in agricultural crops (oilseed rape, potato) and orchard crops (apple tree, sour cherry, pear tree, plum tree, strawberry).
-Effective against difficult pests: Indispensable in combating Colorado potato beetle, weevils, pollen beetle, as well as codling moths and aphids (including the woolly apple aphid).
-Flexible application: Approved for use in self-propelled, tractor-mounted and hand sprayers.
-Compatibility with adjuvants: To enhance aphid control in orchards (e.g. with the adjuvant Slippa).
