Description

Microstar PZ Twój Ogród - starter fertiliser in the form of micro-granules

  • Speed - the fertiliser is immediately available to plants (granules dissolve instantly in water),
  • No effect of the growing medium on phosphorus availability - phosphorus is available regardless of soil pH,
  • Influences root system development,
  • Ensures vigorous growth,
  • Generates abundant flowering and fruiting,
  • Effectiveness - 100% water-soluble, and therefore very efficient,
  • Proper and rapid initial growth, thanks to the content of nitrogen and sulphur,
  • Increased resistance to low temperatures - thanks to the zinc content.

Microstar PZ Twój Ogród is a fertiliser in the form of micro-granules. For starter fertilisation of, among others, vegetables, fruit trees and shrubs, as well as ornamental shrubs. It is characterised by a high content of phosphorus and nitrogen, zinc and sulphur. They provide vigorous growth and abundant flowering and fruiting of fertilised plants and strong root system development. It has appropriately balanced proportions of these nutrients. Additionally, the phosphorus contained in the fertiliser is present in the form of organic compounds. Thanks to this, it is practically 100% available to fertilised plants and regardless of soil pH. Moreover, all nutrients contained in the fertiliser are completely and rapidly water-soluble. This ensures maximum fertiliser efficiency.

Microstar PZ Twój Ogród - composition:

Fertiliser EC Type B.2.1.

Composition:

  • 10% total nitrogen (N), including: 10% ammonium nitrogen (N),
  • 40% total phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅), including: 40% phosphorus pentoxide soluble in neutral ammonium citrate,
  • 39% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅) soluble in water,
  • 11% sulphur trioxide (SO₃) soluble in water,
  • 2% zinc (Zn) soluble in water.

Microstar PZ Twój Ogród preparation - application in crops:

The starter fertiliser Microstar PZ can be used in crops:

  • vegetables (onion, carrot, parsley, cucumber, red beet),
  • vegetables planted from seedlings (tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, leek),
  • fruit trees and shrubs (blueberry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, sweet cherry, grapevine, apple tree, pear tree, sweet cherry, sour cherry, plum tree, apricot, peach) and ornamental,
  • flowering plants (roses, hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, forsythias, lavender etc.),
  • plants requiring acidic growing medium (azaleas, hydrangeas, rhododendrons as well as blueberry and cranberry).

What is the role of phosphorus in plant development?

Phosphorus is essential for plants to develop an appropriate root system. It is also responsible for seed setting and flowering processes. It is important that it is available to plants from the moment of seed germination. In the case of perennial plants, it should be available from the start of vegetation. However, often during emergence and initial growth, the soil is dry and the temperature is low. This significantly limits phosphorus availability. As a result, root system development and plant growth are inhibited. A weak root system cannot properly supply the plant with nutrients.

In practice, phosphorus availability to plants depends on soil pH. It is highest at pH 6.5-7. Unfortunately, a significant part of the soil in Poland is acidic, which greatly limits the utilisation of this element. Moreover, phosphorus is poorly mobile in the soil and it is important that it is as close as possible to the root hair zone - ideally 1-2 mm from the germination site.

The best solution for a good start to cultivation may be the use of starter fertilisation with Microstar PZ fertiliser together with seed sowing or during planting. Phosphorus in this fertiliser occurs in compounds ensuring maximum, practically 100% availability to plants regardless of soil pH.

Microstar PZ Twój Ogród fertiliser - application guidelines:

  • The fertiliser contains micronutrients. Use only when necessary.
  • Do not exceed recommended doses. Avoid all contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes and skin immediately with plenty of water.

To ensure good root system development, strong growth and increased drought resistance, we recommend applying in early spring "Twój Ogród – ROSAHUMUS – soil fertility improving fertiliser". This fertiliser contains humic acids from leonardite.

Application and dosage

Crop

How to apply? Dosage

Application timing

Vegetables (onion, carrot, parsley, cucumber, red beet)

Sow vegetable seeds first, then apply fertiliser on the seeds at a dose of 3–4 g/m2.

Apply fertiliser together with seed sowing in the seed row.

Vegetables planted from seedlings (tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, leek)

Apply fertiliser before planting seedlings into the hole where the seedling will be planted at a dose of 3–4 g/m2.

Apply fertiliser before planting seedlings.

Fruit trees and shrubs and ornamental plants

Before planting – apply fertiliser into the hole where plants will be planted at a dose of 15–40 g fertiliser per plant. Higher doses should be used for plants taller than 1 m. In subsequent years of cultivation: It is best to apply fertiliser very early in spring at a dose of 5–30 g per plant. In cultivation of flowering plants – roses, hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, forsythias, lavender etc. and in cultivation of fruit trees and shrubs (blueberry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, sweet cherry, grapevine, apple tree, pear tree, sour cherry, plum tree, apricot, peach) fertiliser should be applied a second time at the beginning of flower bud formation at a dose of 5–30 g per plant. Spread fertiliser evenly within the radius defined by the plant crown. In cultivation of plants requiring acidic growing medium (azaleas, hydrangeas, rhododendrons as well as blueberry and cranberry) perform additional fertilisation at full flowering at a dose of 5–20 g per plant.

Apply fertiliser before planting.
